It works for every other game and but stopped working for gta 5 recently. I've been plying for over 200 + hours without a hitch. This mod seems to mess with my GPU utilization for some reason. Every few seconds gpu utilization and gpu power/watts drops which causes fps to drop from 90-100fps to 12fps for a split second which causes a noticeable stutter of the camera and world.

Same issue here. I have a wired 360 controller. Has worked fine forever, still works in other games. I can control the menu at startup and once I start the game it doesn't respond. When I unplug/plug it in, it turns into Player 2. WTF! Mine does not seem to work at all once I'm in-game. This only happens in GTA V.

Right click GTA in game library click "Controller config options" , click on joystick move the right one not the one that says "LS Click" , Click action should be an option click on it and a keyboard and a controller template will show up. Click in the right thumbstick of the controller template. then should be fixed I can corroborate that as well.
Also, I'd advise IF you're using bluetooth, get a USB extension cable. The specific dongle I use was a bit fucky being behind my desk and plugged into the rear of my PC (latency would skyrocket depending on what was between it, I had to hold my controller in a certain area to avoid latency being awful), so I ended up getting an extension cable

When the GTA V settings are on frameless windowed mode, I can open the keyboard when pressing the left controller stick. Since this is the preset for the desktop, I assume that although running GTA V, the focus for steam is on the desktop. A Logitech F710 controller runs normally. thx for your help.
