The closest sound it resembles is though one has driven over 2 -3 cat's eyes on the road. Locate the transmission fluid dipstick, which is typically labeled in red. Take it out and check the fluid level. If it’s low, add transmission fluid until it reaches the appropriate level. Check the Shift Solenoids: If the transmission fluid level is fine, the next step is to check the shift solenoids.

Hi all, Problem. My gearbox fault message comes up in the first 25mins in which i cant used or change the gears on the automatic box, but once switch off and switch back on again, and runs like normal driving, no problems its only when starting and running the car ,. When I went to turn the selector into park, it wouldn’t move. Sat there for a minute trying, then thought it might reset if I turned the engine off. Engine turned off ok and selector went down. Tried to restart engine, but would not and dash showed it was still stuck in reverse. Tried on/off a few times with no change.
