How to Increase Party Size in Mount & Blade 2 Bannerlord. Increasing your party size can be done in several different ways, but your main concern should be raising your clan tier.
This mod changes party limits for Bandits & for Heroes. It reduces the maximum (soft cap) of bandits and reduces the number of troops that Heroes will have at a minimum if they are defeated and create a new army. The goal is to reduce bandit spam as they are much stronger now and to help reduce the frequency of heroes being captured by them.

When looking at the unit list on the Party screen, units near the top are much much more likely to be in the initial fight. The first reinforcement wave will select the remaining units closest to the top, and so forth. So just stick your own cavalry near the top and you can have a 70 vs 70 elite unit brawl.
On my third playthrough of the game, using diplomacy, going for Empress of Calridia, and as soon as I have 125+ troops in my party it becomes all but impossible to keep morale above "Very Low." Wondering why on earth this is, I open the morale report and open for the first time ever I notice I have a -1 morale penalty for every person in the army, adding to around -130 Morale. Open the rgl_config.txt and change the battle size setting. The set number x120+30 gives you the battlesize. So 0 =30, 1=150, 2=270, 3=390. If you try to change it in game it will go back to max 150 and you will have to go back into the rgl_config file again. true.
